General conduct policy
It is the goal of the trustees of the Noble County Public Library to allow all patrons of the library to use its facility for the purpose for which the library was established, to the maximum extent possible during regularly scheduled hours.
Any patron not abiding by the rules and regulations of NCPL may be asked to leave the premises. Further, any patron who violates the rules and regulations of the library may be denied the privilege to use the library by the library board of trustees, upon the recommendation of the director.

Unattended children
In all situations the responsible individual who has transported minor children onto the library premises or who has otherwise directed or allowed minor children onto the library premises shall be solely responsible for the care and safety of such children during the entire time such children are on the library premises. The library is not responsible for the care and safety of minor children traveling to and from library premises. Out of concern for the safety and security of children using the library, the NCPL board has implemented the following rules for the libraries in Albion, Avilla, and Cromwell.
