Revised Hours of Operation Beginning January 2026:

As of January 2026, both NCPL Avilla and NCPL Cromwell will have new operating hours. NCPL Avilla and NCPL Cromwell will be CLOSED on Fridays, and NCPL Cromwell will now be open on Mondays. NCPL Albion's hours will remain unchanged.
The new hours beginning January 2026 are shown below:

Wednesday - 9 am to 5 pm

Friday CLOSED
Saturday 9 am to 1 pm

Monday - 9 am to 5 pm
Tuesday - 9 am to 6 pm
Wednesday - 9 am to 5 pm

Why this change is happening:
This difficult decision has been made to preserve essential library services in the midst of current challenges such as decreasing revenues and staffing shortages. The choice of closing a weekday (Friday) was determined based on results of our community survey.

Weather-Related Closings

No travel conditions currently affecting library hours.

Severe weather conditions may affect the hours of the library. All library facilities will close when an orange (watch) or red (warning) travel status is declared by the County. Director discretion will be used for yellow (advisory) travel status.
