There are many different types of projects to make using the sublimation process but The Bridge has limited supplies on hand. If you have a project that is outside of this list, feel free to contact us to see if we are able to help!

DIY T-shirts
Since there are so many various styles, sizing, and material types for shirts, the Bridge is unable to keep a supply of shirts for patron to use for their projects. If you have a small quantity of shirts you would like to DIY, you can purchase shirts ahead of time and bring them in during appointment times. It is recommended to use a polyester blend & to pick lighter colored shirts** for sublimation designs to not wash out easily and to show up clearly. The more cotton that is in a shirt, the higher the chance of the design washing out. You are more than welcome to book an appointment to get help with designing and what to purchase to bring your project to life!
(**Hint- When coming up with a design for a colored shirt, think about how your design would look printed on a piece of colored copy paper. It may be hard to see text or colored designs on top of a dark background. Bridge staff members can help you!)

Don't know where to start? Canva is a free to use website that allows you to create designs and projects of all types. There is a subscription option to have full access to all of their features but there is more than enough options to create amazing projects without paying! |
Create your design at home or in the library and staff can help you with sizing and printing. The Bridge has sublimation ink, paper, and blanks for the public to use in order to bring their ideas to life.
